Caswell County, North Carolina, mid-19th century, mahogany veneer, poplar and white pine secondary, multi part form, bold two tiered ogee cornice with an applied relief carved floral and scrolled crest, central recessed hinged mirror door with inset marble above four graduated drawers, applied ribbon moldings to frame, flanked by two large hinged paneled doors, open interior with hanging rack, raised on distinctive scalloped skirt and bracket foot base, unsigned.

Chip/loss to upper left corner of recessed picture molding; mirror with silver loss; cornice with small dent and veneer chip at center; nicking and staining to marble; later hinges; no key; original feet with shrinkage cracks.
