GROUP OF SEVEN 'BUDDHA' PAINTINGS 20TH CENTURY 二十世紀 各式佛菩薩法相 紙本設色 鏡框(共七幅) ink and colour on paper, each depicting Buddha or Bodhisattva on their vahana (vehicle), framed (48cm x 28.2cm each) Qty: (7) Provenance: From the private Scottish collection of Henry Glenlyon Campbell Roger (1919-1999), of Duddingston Village, Edinburgh. Inherited from the estate of his father, Herbert Campbell Roger, OBE (1st Jan 1920), awarded the Chevalier de L’Ordre de la Couronne by the Belgian king, Albert for his service during the Great War (4th Dec 1919) and as a Secretary of the British Red Cross for some 20 years, living in Glasgow and latterly at Greenend, Guilford, Surrey.
