Lustrous, Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, Blue and white porcelain jar. The Finest Chinese porcelain potted in large cylinder vessel, jar shape with enlarge on the middle, having thick and tall potted body, sturdily potted in a bulbous body, ovoid belly on middle gently tapered on short neck toward opening mouth prominent, with slight flaring opening lip, and raised on flat wide round foot base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color. Blue and white porcelain in Chinese it is called Qing Hua Ci. It is the most important variety of China’s porcelain. It was originated in the Ming Dynasty. The main belly adorned of many elders meet on the terrace garden palace, with fence, lush tree, grass, and flowers blooms. Flying Qilin myth beast above thrashing waves Lishui water on the foot base rim. The shoulder decorated of auspicious ornament with flowers blooms and geometric pattern with Chinese calligraphy medallion on the neck. Each section mark off and enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese porcelain wares, with finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, and the carving.
