Item Details

Description

Massive late 19th Century Meiji period Japanese Kutani porcelain charger. Decorated with roundels of flower and bird enamel paintings against a varied patterned ground with gilding. Apparently unsigned. Dimensions: (Charger) H 3.5" x Dia. 24"; charger on stand measures 30.5" high. Condition: Two short rim firing cracks, several small rim hairlines. Scattered wall paint flecks, very light rubs to decoration.
