Gill, Eric (1882-1940) Volume of wood-engravings presented by Gill to his wife Mary Ethel Moore Gill, c.1926-1929 4to, later red quarter morocco, spine gilt-lettered 'Engravings by E. G. for M. E. G.', bookplate of Mary Gill to front pastedown, containing 16 wood-engravings by Gill, of which 13 (nos. 1-13 below) inscribed by him in pencil 'MEG' or 'To MEG' (one additionally inscribed 'from EG'), and 3 (nos. 14-16) numbered and signed but not addressed to any recipient, various dimensions, each mounted on separate sheets (rectos only), interleaved throughout, titles as follows (Skelton numbers in square brackets): 1. The Martyrdom of St Saturus, from The Passion of Perpetua and Felicity and The Fleuron VII, 1928 [P559: in its published form an additional block printed in red was used for the blood of the martyr]; 2.
