In this lot we find two fountain pens of Limited Edition to only 1919 pieces, which is the year of the foundation of Aurora, belonging to the series of "Leonardo Da Vinci" and other two pens of design "The Pope".
Of the first two, among the elements that make these pieces unique is their gold-plated clip, characterised by an original opening and closing movement, designed by Giampiero Bodino, which evokes the sketches of the flying birds of the great Leonardo. It also features a narrow, tapering nib, which is joined to the barrel with a fine, hand-crafted black resin joint. And hidden in its gold-plated base, this Aurora jewel conceals an original lever-loading system.
The Leonardo da Vinci is another Aurora contribution to the commemoration of the great geniuses who have so influenced Italian culture. For only those who know how to marvel at true beauty are those who know how to pay a just tribute to those who have known how to express it.
The other two pens, "The Pope" design, are 18 Kts. fountain pens with solid gold nibs. Gold-plated cap and barrel and marbled resin. Gold-plated fittings. White agate stone inserted in the cap. Limited edition of 1919 pieces.
