Description
The Boston Revere Beach & Lynn Railroad was a narrow gauge line that connected to Boston via a ferry. It has BRB&L RR stamped in small Adams & Westlake lettering on the lid. It was a commuter line that just ran to Lynn. It was a 3' gauge line. The frame is standard Adams & Westlake model with a date code of 3-35. The line shut down a few years later. I have to admit, I have never seen a BRB&LRR etched globe that looks like this. Because the globe has "1925" cast in large letters it was originally in a 1925 model Armspear lantern. It makes a good conversation piece but it's authenticity is very suspect.
