Tuskegee Airmen. The Tuskegee Airmen were a group of primarily African American military pilots and airmen who fought in World War II. They formed the 332d Fighter Group and the 477th Bombardment Group of the United States Army Air Forces. The book, Red Tails Black Wings, by John B. Holway, Yucca Tree Press, 1977 signed on a bookplate affixed on the first blank page by airmen Lee Archer (1919-2010), Charles McGee (1919-2022) and Roscoe Brown (1922-2016). The dedication page has been signed byairman: Clayton Robinson, Bernard Proctor, Eugene Richardson, Henry Moore and James R. Williams. Calvin Summers, a truck driver for the 5th Army EXPRESS, has signed the half-title page. The dust jacket is very good.
