Painted in the style of the 19th Century American School of the Early National Era. Raised gilt lettering beneath work to eglomise mat ST PAUL'S CHURCH 1831. BROADWAY - NEW YORK. Original circa 1890 MAX WILLIAMS GALLERY (New York) label fragment affixed to verso. No apparent signature. Presented with a wide eglomise band mat in a ribbed gilt frame. Sight size approximately 8.5" x 10.5".

Condition: Good overall condition having normal surface wear, and age related toning to paper. Delamination to eglomise matting. Frame having moderate surface wear. Estate fresh to the market.
