Description
A GEORGE IV SCOTTISH SILVER THREE-PIECE TEA SERVICE
X
X
by Charles Bendy, Edinburgh 1821, comprising teapot, cream jug and two-handled sugar bowl, chased with scrolls and foliage, each twice engraved with a crest and the motto CORDE ET MANU, ivory insulators to handle of the teapot. (3) Teapot 17cm high, 29cm long, 51.5 troy ounces gross
With non-transferable standard ivory exemption declaration number C9JH1QB9
Marks are clear and well-struck. Minor surface wear and generally in very good condition. The foot of the cream jug is ever so slightly distorted, but this isn't very important and certainly does not detract.
