Frank Borman Group of 3 Signed Apollo VIII Prints
Photo prints, each measuring 16" x 20", n.p., undated. Group consists of (2) prints of the iconic Earthrise image and (1) depicting the Apollo VIII spacecraft before launch, all signed by Frank Borman and inscribed "Apollo 8 CDR". Commemorates the first crewed spacecraft to leave low Earth orbit and human spaceflight to reach the Moon. No visible flaws, with crisp images throughout. Bold signatures to all in silver felt tip pen. Very fine, rolled.
Frank Borman (1928-) was a NASA astronaut who, during his tenure, commanded both the Gemini 7 and Apollo 8 missions. The latter marked Borman, along with fellow crewmates James Lovell and Bill Anders, as one of the first humans to witness and photograph an Earthrise.
