Yoshida Bungoro IV (1869-1962) was a renowned Japanese puppeteer. In 1955, he was officially recognized as a "Living National Treasure." The pencil inscription is an abbreviated form of the French words "douzieme etat" (second state).
Condition
Good condition. The paper appears to be slightly toned. Not examined out of the frame.
