Description

A mid-20th century silver cigarette case, with engine turned decoration through out and initial engraved panel to corner. Hallmarked Frederick Field, Birmingham 1856. Length 6.5" (16.2cm), gross weight 7.58 ozt (235.8 grams).

Condition Report:

Item displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.

Item shows areas of dark tarnishing through out, especially to side around initial engraving.

Panel with initial engraving displays some deeper surface scratching and nicks.

Push lock and hinged lid are in good working condition.

Hallmarks are clear and legible.

Elasticated band to interior is taut and in working order.
