A late Victorian silver cigar case, of rectangular curved form, with swirled, foliate engraving surrounding circular panel. Hallmarked Horton & Allday, Birmingham 1896. Length 5" (12.6cm), weight 4.48 ozt (139.5 grams).

Condition Report:

Item is in good condition, in consideration of age and use, still with minor surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing evident through out.

Silver is bright and shiny through out.

Lower left corner, and top right corner to the back of item, both display a small bash.

Lid is not perfectly aligned to body, only visible from the back of item.

Push lock is in good working order.

Hallmarks are clear and legible.
