Description
MANNING & SAWUSCH / M & W ENGINEERING CO. "M-5" RADIAL MODEL AIRPLANE ENGINE, die-cast construction, five-cylinder, four cycle overhead valve radial, eight equally spaced cylinder fins, no serial number located, fitted with a laminated wooden and stamped "9 1" propeller, attached metal plate to the crankcase end with impressed "RUN/START" in red, fitted with five Champion V-3 spark plugs. Crankshaft turns freely and is untested for functionality. Displayed on a wooden stand with wiring harness. Second quarter 20th century. Engine: 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" overall, propeller 11 3/4" long.
