ATWOOD PHANTOM 1938 MODEL AIRPLANE ENGINES, LOT OF FOUR, two examples with dark royal blue paint and remaining two unpainted, three examples with embossed "PHANTOM MOTOR" to cylinder bypass, one example with two-bolt cylinder attachment and remaining with four bolt cylinder attachment, each head with four bolt attachment, teardrop exhaust, three examples with a cadmium plated brass fuel tank, serial numbers impressed to back of crankshaft case include "I255", "K496", "?D359", and remaining with serial number impressed to underside of mount "B747", each example fitted with a spark plug including two Blue Crown and two Champion, one example offset. Each example's crankshaft turns freely and is untested for functionality. Two examples mounted on a wooden display base, including earlier example with a coil. 1938. 4" x 7" overall; 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" overall.
