Description
Pair of porcelain figures, probably Samson et Cie (French 1845-1969) in the manner of Chelsea Derby, 19th century, pieces modeled as a shepherdess and hunter with bocage decoration on Rococo style bases, having spurious Crown Derby and gold interlocked "S" marks to the bottom of each. Approx. of the female figure h. 12.25", w. 7", d. 5.5".
Condition
Scattered chips/losses and crazing to necks of both figures, possible repair to male figure's hand with overpaint to foot and base masking a repair.
