Description
Four piece blossom or peapod design sterling service with coffee pot, tea/hot water pot, creamer, and sugar with marks Petersen, Hand Made Sterling and trade/hallmarks on bases. Pots with bone handles. Also a large silverplate tray marked Petersen. Lightly hammered "martele" texture surface design.Petersen, Danish born, appprenticed with Georg Jensen 1908-1913, then relocated to Montreal (Canada) 1929 to work at H. Birk & Son before starting his own firm in 1944. In 1962, he redesigned the NHL Stanley Cup. 66 toz. sterling only, weighed including pots with bone handles.

Set: Very good condition, coffee pot with horizontal tarnish line on body. some tarnish. Tray: One corner bent up, slightly warped overall, use scratches to tray surface.
