Mort Kunstler (American, B. 1931) Original Illustration Art. "Naked Amos Acey's Harem of Penal Girls," by Walter Kaylin, created for "Male" Magazine (October, 1960), signed lower right. For six months, the cocky Yank lived on an island of prison women. Pulp image of three sexy women surviving in a tropical wilderness, clothes tattered, armed with rifles and clubs as a shocked paratrooper parachutes downward toward them. Verso inscribed. Provenance: Heritage Auctions, Dallas, TX, May 6, 2010, Lot 87023. Size: 17'' x 19.5'', 43 x 50 cm (image); 20'' x 25'', 51 x 64 cm (board).
