An Ameca style Jalisco kneeling female figure holding a bowl on her proper left shoulder with her proper left hand. The proper right arm is bent at the elbow, with the hand resting on the abdomen. Burnished buff ceramic. Late Formative, 300 BCE to 200 CE. Jalisco, Mexico. 18" x 11".Condition: Very good, with no apparent breaks or repairs.Provenance: From the Boeckman Collection. Dallas, Texas. Acquired 4/10/1971. From the collection of Ted Van Dyke.
