A Large Ameca Jalisco Seated Female c. 200 BC - 200 AD
In a rich cream color with red-brown details, finely modeled wide-bodied female holding a bowl in her proper right hand, and her left supports a plate on her shoulder with biscuit-shapes and cone in center, numerous scarification bumps on shoulders, segmented crossed bands on head, tasseled earrings. Pointed facial features set in a rather aggressive expression. In good condition, head reattached at neck with in-fill and restoration.
