Description
A pair of campaign medals issued to Private Denis Fihely of the 28th Regiment of foot. The first is the English Crimea campaign medal with three bars, Sebastopol, Inkermann, and Alma. And Turkish issued Crimea medal and his Long service and Good Conduct medal.
Together with many documents related to his military service including his pay book, which pre-date the Crimean War.
