A Federal carved maple tall case clock Works signed Timothy Chandler (1762-1848), Concord, NH, the case attributed to David Young, Hopkinton, NH, circa 1800
(H: 90 1/4 in. W: 20 in. D: 10 in.)
The hood with broken pediment, carved rosettes, brass ball and steeple finials, the enamel face faintly inscribed, "T... Chandler," decorated with floral motifs to each quadrant, moon phase dial, the case with rectangular door, molded base on shaped bracket feet.

Condition
includes pendulum, two weights; case key, winding key; enamel face with cracquelure and minor wear, loss commensurate with age, the signature remains faintly; the case and hood overall with refinished surface, some moldings possibly repinned; hood with some age splits to side panels around glass panes; front right-facing foot with repaired break; brass hinges on case door either re-set or replaced; as with all mechanical objects, Freeman's does not guarantee functionality
