Description
An American silver plated tea set by Reed and Barton of Canadian interest. The set has a large tray, two coffee pots, a teapot, covered sugar, cream jug, tea urn, and slop bowl with bell. Allwith bands of hand engraved floral decoration set in a frosted finish. The finials are heraldic lions bearing shields. The corners of the tray set with bearded male faces. The tray bears a presentation inscription and was presented in St.John New Brunswick in 1880. H. of urn: 40.6 cm (16 in.) L. of tray: 78.7 cm (31 in.) overall in good condition with some minor dents and bruisingcommensurate with age burner for urn lacking
