Byroniana.- Turnour (Edward John) The Warning Voice, a sacred poem, in two cantos; addressed to infidel writers of poetry, first edition, half-title, Printed for the author, and sold by Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme and Brown, 1818 bound after Turnour (Edward John) The Protestant Church alone faithful in reading the word of God, half-title, Printed for the author, and sold by Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme and Brown, 1818, together 2 works in 1 vol., ink inscription to half-title of second mentioned, occasional spotting, contemporary purple calf, gilt, spine in compartments and with black leather label, foot of spine chipped, corners worn, rubbed and scuffed; and another, Byron, 4to & 8vo (2)

Provenance: John Scott, 1st Earl Eldon (1751-1838), Lord Chancellor, 1801-1827 (ink signature to front free endpaper and engraved circular armorial bookplate).
