French Belle Epoque Silver Gilt Teapot for One
fourth quarter 19th century, by Simon Slisonski, active 1888-1903, Paris, first standard (.950) silver, in the Empire taste, with ovoid body and cavetto neck, acanthus-mounted bird's-head spout and four lion's-paw feet, with squared rosewood handle, reeded palmette banding and toupie finial.
h. 4-3/4", l. 5-3/4", dia. 3"; 6.76 t. oz. (including wooden handle)

Condition
**Some wear to the gilding, but otherwise in quite good condition with no issues noted. Marked on the collar with the French first standard "Minerva" and maker's mark.
