The Team was managed by the one and only Casey Stengel who is pictured in this amazing Kaufman masterpiece. Standing with Stengel is none other than Mickey Mantle the year's TRIPLE CROWN WINNER. The Mick batted .353 with 52 home runs and 130 RBI's to sweep every major hitting category in the American League. This piece is Kaufman's tribute to The Mick for these amazing accomplishments in 1956 and to Stengel who enjoyed a storied career managing the New York Yankees.
