Circa 1850, Edgefield, South Carolina, Thomas Chandler operation. The vessel having been very skillfully thin wall potted with a bold swag iron brush decoration at upper body and having a single strap handle at the side on a bulbous body. The rim has a small restoration only 2" long, otherwise the piece is in very good overall condition. H7 1/8" Sold from the collection of Betty & Ralph Jennings of Gaffney, South Carolina.
