Graceful, elegant, discreet and one of the symbols of an era, the Lancia Flaminia Coupé was one of the most popular Grand Tourers on the market at the time. Presented at the 1958 Turin Motor Show, it was fitted out by Pininfarina in Turin on the Flaminia saloon floorpan shortened by 12 centimetres. The favourite car of those customers who did not want to chauffeur the car or drive around in the more noble Ferraris or Maseratis, the Flaminia Coupé was an admirable example of elegance with a touch of sportiness. The version with the 2.8-litre 140-horsepower engine was introduced in 1963 and guaranteed greater elasticity than the 2.5-litre version.

This 1965 Flaminia Coupé has been owned by the same family since 1971. Still bearing its Milan number plate of first registration, it has always been regularly used. In 2015 it underwent a general repainting job that involved some tinwork on parts of the bodywork. Also in 2015, the car underwent work on the mechanics that involved a general overhaul of the brakes, carburettors, steering heads and replacement of fluids. The car is also fitted with new tyres dated 2018. It is in perfect working order and has been in regular use until shortly before it was put up for auction. The car is in good condition: it retains its interior, which requires repair work on the driver's side seat. An inspection conducted before the car was auctioned shows some areas of superficial corrosion in the underbody and in the underbody: a targeted intervention will be necessary in order to preserve the car. Still elegant today, this Flaminia will certainly continue to give its new owner a classy driving experience.
