Letter, dated February 28,1955, was sent from MacArthur's home in New York to a Mr. G.E. Nelson. ''Dear Mr. Nelson, Thank you so much for your birthday greeting. I appreciate it deeply. It made my day a brighter one, indeed.'' MacArthur signs ''Most cordially, Douglas MacArthur'' in blue fountain pen ink. 8'' x 10''. Excellent condition. With original envelope.
