Pair of Polychrome Side Chairs
ca. 1900, in the 18th-century French style, with slightly flared backs, serpentine seat fronts and fluted legs, the loose cushions ribbon-tied in the back, upholstered with a contemporary pale silver-gray and white floral fabric.

Condition
The rear leg on one has a professionally repaired crack. It is strong and stable. The same chair has a chip
to the back corner edge of the crest rail. The other chair has a repaired crack to its back post where it
joins the seat. It is also strong and stable. The painted surface is lightly distressed from age and has a
nice overall patina.
The seat height including the cushion is 20".
The height to the underside of the seat is 13".
Note: These date to ca.1900. Not contemporary.
