DESCRIPTION: British cavalry shamshir saber featuring a brass horse head pommel detailed with a mane as well as facial features, a wire wrapped handle, leaf depictions in relief at the scrolling hilt and knuckle bow, etched graduating circles tapering down either side of the dramatically curved blade, and further details of ouroboro form suspension rings at the brass scabbard.
