Ca. second to third quarter 18thC. English, dark oak blanket chest with three geometric panels displayed on the front. The paneled lift top utilizes interior strap hinges. The surface is original, dark, and evenly colored throughout. The rear right foot has been repaired as shown. There are areas of wear, as expected with a 300 year old blanket chest.
