A necklace of lovely style and wearable form that is strung with a variety of Maya, Mezcala, and Manabi beads; modern brass spacer spheres are interspersed throughout. Incised Manabi pottery beads display abstract avian motifs while the Mezcala and Maya greenstone beads as well as the Tairona quartz tubes exhibit attractive colors. Wearable as shown and strung in modern times. Stone, jade, and pottery beads are ancient; brass beads, stringing, and silver findings are modern. Minor nicks and abrasions to some beads, with light softening to some avian motifs, otherwise in excellent condition. Great presentation!
