Description
Two 19th century French silver beakers, both of cylindrical form to a flared rim and raised on a footed base, the smaller example with maker's mark for Theodor Tonnelier (Paris), other marks rubbed, height 4.25" (11cm), the larger beaker with various assay marks including 1809-1819 standard and guarantee marks, height 4.5" (11.5cm). Together with two smaller cups, one of goblet shape and engraved with trailing and fruiting vine, various French marks including Minerva, the other probably plated. Weight excluding latter 7.61 ozt (236.8 grams). (4).
