Description
A pair of 1940s Polish wooden seals of Warsaw ghetto post. The first seal has a Magen David and inscription Postablage Stelle im Judischen Wohnbezirk Warschau, Post office in the Jewish residential district of Warsaw. The second seal has a Magen David with inscription Judenrat der Gemeinde Falenica Adt Post, Jewish council of the municipality of Falenica Adt Post. The Warsaw Ghetto was the largest of the Nazi ghettos during World War II and the Holocaust. It was established in November 1940 and demolished in May 1943.
