Description
An exquisite George III English silver shell footed cruet frame executed in a conjoined circular form capable of carrying (5) cylindrical bottles. With a city mark of London, maker's mark of Jabez Daniell & James Mince, and date letter of 1766. Accompanied by (6) unmarked silver mounted cut glass bottles. Total approx. weight of the cruet frame and caps is 10.65 troy oz (gross) excluding cut glass bottles. From a Westchester, NY estate. Dimensions: frame measures approx. 6" in diameter.
Condition
Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. The Central cartouche is void of engraving. (3) cut glass bottles exhibit fleabites and or chips to interior opening. All bottles exhibit external fleabites to body and base.
