Pair girandole Antique Carved Giltwood Venetian Style Mirrors. Significant wearing to one mirror with the gesso flaking off, need repair. Each measures approx 25.5 W x 33.75. Prior repair to pieces (see photos). Mirrors have significant wear from age. This pair possibly has the original ironware to front and back. Pieces to lower front were possibly used to attach candles to front, in which it would reflect off the mirror and illuminate the room; known as girandole. Patina finish to pieces. Faces to top of piece.
