Steve Kestrel (American, 1947 to present), ca. 21st century CE. A pair of limited-edition bronze belt buckle and bolo tie by award winning Colorado artist Steve Kestrel- a bull belt buckle and a horned lizard bolo slide on a braided horsehair cord. The bull buckle is series number 16/200, and the horned lizard bolo is series 39/200, an additional style number 7854 etched into the center. Both are signed by the artist on the interior and are wearable! Kestrel's work has been displayed in collections at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Wyoming, and the Denver Art Museum. He is also the recipient of numerous awards including the 2012 gold medal for sculpture at The West Select exhibition at the Phoenix Art Museum. Size (bolo slide): 3.125" L x 2.125" W (7.9 cm x 5.4 cm); (horsehair cord doubled): 42" L (106.7 cm)
Provenance: ex-private Bishop Family Trust collection, the Trust of the late Bill Bishop, a noted antiquarian with shops in Scottsdale, Arizona and Allenspark, Colorado, USA, acquired before 2010

Condition
Both are excellent like new condition. Horsehair cord is intact and excellent. Both are wearable with clear signatures on interior.
