Description

French oak buffet a deux corps, 18th/19th century, in the Louis XV taste, having a curved cornice, shaped paneled, pull-out breadboard, and rising on curved front legs, apparently unmarked.

Provenance: From the Private Collection of the Argenbrights, Atlanta, Georgia.

Approx. h. 99.5", w. 58", d. 26.25".

Condition

Some wear to finish with water rings, some stable dryness cracks, areas of loss at edges, and previous restorations, wear to feet, top of lower case is cracked where the top rests, exposed nails to top of lower case, evidence of previous worming (inactive), case is structurally sound.
