Group of two possibly American Southern pottery brown glazed butter churns, each having a rolled lip, double handles to one side and single handle to the other, one churn marked for five gallons but otherwise unmarked.
Provenance: From the Private Collection of Elizabeth Cross, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Approx. lighter glaze h. 18", dia. 9.5"; darker glaze h. 15.25", dia. 10.5".
