Description
The lot features a fantastic unusually smaller size showing an American carved powder horn dating to the 19th Century. The powder horn or powder flask shows a domed carved wood / turned plug end with turned wood strap cap. The powder flask is made from a steer horn which shows an integral raised carved rim with zig zag "x" carving and ball like spout tip with carved wood plug. Truly a wonderful, finely carved example which presents well. Measures overall 7.25"L by 2"D.
