Open robe of 1770s silk w/ sparse floral springs weft brocade on cream vertical patterned striped ground, triple box pleated cuff edging w/ fly fringe & elaborate woven edging, re-made in the 1840s w/ matching symmetrically pieced waistcoat hand sewn from original petticoat w/ notched lapel, functional front pockets, single side breast pocket & corded edging, robe B 32", W 22.5", L 48", (many tiny-0.5" holes, shatter spots & stains, broad light staining, underarms & hem stained/worn, 0.75" tear CB neckline) good- fair. Waistcoat CH 37", W 34", L 17", (stained/discolored, 1.75" stain CF, many tiny-0.25" spot stains, shattering to neckline) good.
