Technique: Etching on Paper
Stamp: Collector's stamp, Lugt no.: 1624. Unknown/not identified. Mark: "K". Berlin. 20th century
Inscription: At the lower part signed in the printing plate: "C. Bourgeois del. | Le Grand sculp.". At the lower part inscribed in the printing plate: "Vue prise à Tivoli".
Date: c. 1810
Description: Romantic view of ruins near Tivoli. Amidst the structural remains and a wild rocky landscape is a young family.

Condition
Rather good condition. The sheet is slightly discoloured due to its age and in places slightly stained on the sheet margin. The corners of the sheet are damaged by bumps and creases. Especially on the verso visible diagonal crease through the centre of the sheet. Fine traces of biros on the left margin.
