Inscription: At the lower part signed in the printing plate: "G. Cottafavi disegno dal vero e incise". At the lower part inscribed in the printing plate: "Avanzi del Tempio di Castore e Polluce nella Città di Cora".
Date: c. 1830
Description: City view of the town of Cori in Latium. A crowd of people crowds around a tribune in front of the remains of the former Castor and Pollux temple. An open coffin or box with the figure of a bishop in regalia leans against a house wall. A young man is distributing something to the followers of the cult(?).

Condition
Rather good condition. Foxing is visible on the entire sheet. A clear liquid stain is visible along the lower edge of the sheet. Another, smaller liquid stain at upper right. The image makes a good impression.
