Gorham Silver (American, established 1831). "Golden Wheat" sterling silverware. Sterling silver, 18k gold detailing. Pattern design: 1952. Total weighable: 81.63 ozt. Set of 68 pieces of "Golden Wheat" sterling silverware by Gorham. Sterling body with 18k gold wheat detailing. Set consists of: eight dinner forks, eight salad forks, eight cocktail forks, six table spoons, sixteen teaspoons, one cream soup spoon, two serving spoons, one serving fork, one ladle, one tomato server, eight dinner knives, and eight bread and butter knives. No monograms. Backside of each piece marked "Gorham Sterling 18K". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary Jane Devlin, lifelong resident of Toledo's Old West End and grandniece of Michael J. Owens, glass manufacturer and inventor.
