Description
Late 18th-19th century. Rose Medallion bowl, 2.75"h. 10"l. and covered vegetable, 8"l., Nanking reticulated tray, 10.75"l. and saucer with gilding, and an octagonal platter with river and people with fishing poles. Orange peel glaze. Wear. 13.25" x 17.25". Together with eight plates and soup plates, mostly Chinese Imari patterns. Minor wear and flakes, one crow's foot. One 6.25"d. the rest 8.5" to 9"d. Nanking, Rose Medallion and all plates but smallest have stapled repairs.
Condition
As catalogued. Rose Medallion vegetable lid does not have repair. Platter wear is relatively minor and mostly the faces of the center figures. Chrysanthemum plate has enamel loss. Nanking underplate has loss in reticulation near repair.
