A Franklin Mint Collector House of Erte fountain pen. The pan is made in the Art Deco design, adorned with an engraved leopard skin pattern on barrel, encrusted with a ruby red crystal accent. A figural clip is made in a shape of an Art Deco woman in a costume. A facsimile signature of Erte is on a tip. Marked with a logo on a nib and with an impressed stamp on a top. Comes with an original marked case. Circa: the second half of the 20th century. Romain de Tirtoff was a French artist and designer known by the pseudonym Erte, from the French pronunciation of his initials. He was a 20th century genuis artist, graphic artist, illustrator, set designer, fashion designer, sculptor of the Art deco era, Russian origin, who worked in Paris and Hollywood.
