Description

A set of eight Theodore Alexander mahogany dining chairs in the George III style, manufactured by Althorp Living History, Hickory, North Carolina, modern, comprising six side chairs and a pair of armchairs, each with an applied heraldic decal to the underside of seat rail and signed stretcher.

Dimensions:Height of side chairs 38in; width 22 1/2in; depth 16 1/2in; height of armchairs 39in; width 25in; depth of seat 17 1/4in.

Provenance:From a local collection.

Condition

Structurally sound, typical marks, wear, scuffs, abrasions and surface scratches. One seat with stains and soiling, otherwise the upholstery is in good condition.
