Collection of a South Carolina gentleman.
Condition
Chair one : deep scratch to crest rail above splat, appears to retain original slip seat, some wear to seat rail and some fill, wear to feet. Chair two: has been restored, slip seat marked “III” chair marked “II,” cracks to shoe, upper proper right front leg with patch and crack, seat rail with masking stain, proper lower left seat rail tenon exposed at interior, proper left rear leg with mended break, wear to feet.
